Preventing Planning from Getting in the Way of Doing

girl with listDo you ever feel like you make lists and plan for hours and yet things still remain undone. As I am writing this I look around and see multiple items that need attending to. I am the sort of person that gets easily overwhelmed when things pile up. I make lists and make a small amount of progress only to let the maintenance aspect of organization fall by the wayside. I get distracted and I let my perfectionism get in the way of “just doing it”. I am joining with some fellow bloggers and setting myself a new goal to pick three things to work on each week. I will set one goal in each of these areas: One project for the house, one project that I have procrastinated on and one for my blog. Check back here every Saturday for the weekly plan.

So here is my plan for the upcoming week:

  1. Work on decluttering my bedroom.
  2. Setup a file system on my computer for digital photos.
  3. Fill out the dates for upcoming posts, review, contests, etc in my new blog planner.

I am joining Homeschooling Hearts and Minds for this challenge. If you want to join us post a note in the comments or link your blog posts to Homeschooling Hearts and Minds at the bottom of the post on the linky.

Tell me what your three goals are this week.
