An Allowance System

ALLOWANCE SYSTEM

(EFFECTIVE JANUARY 7, 2013)

 

–          PAID EVERY WEEK (1 WEEK = 7 DAYS)

–          71 CENTS PER DAY = $5.00 PER WEEK PER CHILD

WEEKLY DISTRIBUTION (PER CHILD)

TITHE – 10% (FULL WORK WEEK = 50 CENTS)

AWANA – 20%  (FULL WORK WEEK = $1.00)

SAVINGS – 20% (FULL WORK WEEK = $1.00)

BIRTHDAYS / SPECIAL EVENTS = 10% (FULL WORK WEEK = 50 CENTS)

FREE SPENDING – 40% (FULL WORK WEEK = $2.00

 

–          EXCEPT THROUGH FREE SPENDING, NO OTHER TOYS, ETC. BY ADULTS (EXCEPT AT BIRTHDAYS AND CHRISTMAS)

–          WHEN FREE SPENDING IS GONE, IT CANNOT BE RE-FILLED WITH MONEY FROM OTHER CATEGORIES

–          YOU MUST PAY THE TITHE AND AWANAS DUES EVERY WEEK BY YOURSELF, NO MATTER HOW MUCH ALLOWANCE YOU EARNED

–          THERE CAN BE SPECIAL, EXTRA JOBS FOR CERTAIN AMOUNTS OF MONEY, IN ADDITION TO THE NORMAL ALLOWANCE JOBS.  WHEN THEY ARE DISTRIBUTED AS FOLLOWS:

a)     TITHE – 10%

b)     SAVINGS – 20%

c)     FREE SPENDING – 20%

d)     BIRTHDAYS / SPECIAL EVENTS – 50%

–          THERE WILL EXTRA THINGS THAT MOMMY AND DADDY WILL ASK YOU TO DO AROUND THE HOUSE THAT WILL NOT BE PAID.  YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE, AND BAD ATTITUDES ABOUT THESE MAY MEAN THAT MONEY IS TAKEN OUT OF YOUR WEEKLY ALLOWANCE.   10 CENTS TAKEN OUT PER BAD ATTITUDE

–          YOU WILL NOT BE REMINDED ABOUT YOUR ALLOWANCE JOBS OR BE PUNISHED FOR NOT DOING THEM.  YOU JUST WILL NOT BE PAID IF THEY ARE NOT DONE AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.   IF YOU ARE NOT PAID FOR NOT DOING YOUR JOBS FOR THE WEEK, YOUR TITHE AND AWANAS MONEY WILL COME OUT OF YOUR FREE SPENDING MONEY

 

DAILY TASKS

–          INSPECTED BY EITHER MOMMY OR DADDY.  MOMMY DURING THE DAY AND DADDY AT NIGHTS AND ON WEEKENDS.

–          JOBS NOT DONE AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE WEEKLY PAY.  10 CENTS PER JOB PER DAY

 

DREW MORNING JOBS

  1. MAKE BED
  2. PUT UP SHOES, CLOTHES
  3. 1 CUP CAT FOOD (PER CAT)
  4. PUT BATHROOM TRASH INTO KITCHEN TRASH CAN

DREW EVENING JOBS

  1. 1 CUP CAT FOOD (PER CAT)
  2. SWISH AND SWIPE HALL BATHROOM
  3. SWEEP KITCHEN
  4. CLEAR OFF DINNER TABLE

 

LUKE MORNING JOBS

  1. MAKE BED
  2. PUT UP SHOES, CLOTHES
  3. FRESH WATER FOR CATS
  4. PUT DIRTY CLOTHES INTO LAUNDRY ROOM

LUKE EVENING JOBS

  1. BASEMENT TRASH INTO KITCHEN TRASH CAN
  2. SWISH AND SWIPE MOMMY / DADDY’S BATHROOM
  3. SET DINNER TABLE
