As a Georgia native and second generation homeschooler, I have had the opportunity to see many of the great “tourist attractions” of the state. There is much to see and do in the land of southern hospitality. Get your walking shoes on and take a trip down memory lane with me as I share some of my favorite attractions that will keep Georgia on your mind………… Head on over to Glimpse of Our Life to read the rest of my first guest blog post.

Have you ever seen “Stuckie” in Waycross, GA? We like to travel and look at stuff too. The museum was closed the day that we went and the kids were heartbroken… but it didn’t make me all that sad really! LOL The hollow tree outside and the train were pretty cool though.

We have never seen that before. We will have to check it out when next we head that direction. Thanks for the tip.

I have not done a lot in Georgia. I’ll head over and read what all there is to do, so maybe the next time I head to TN & FL to see my adult kids we will visit.

How timely! I’m planning on taking my children to GA some time in April and you mentioned a few places that I hadn’t even thought of. Thanks for your help with my list making.
