Reading List 2013 – spring update

I love to read, but over the last ten years reading for pleasure has become almost non-existent for me. The addition of kids, homeschooling, a bigger house, etc have put a drain on my time and I found myself only reading for or to the kids. Anyone get my drift? I read Llama, Llama Red Pajama until I can recite it but books I have on my shelves call to me as they sit there collecting dust. booksLast year, I set out to increase my reading after being encouraged to read more by Money Saving Mom. I set out to read one book a month. You can see the books I read on Pinterest. I ended up exceeding my goal by 4 books. This year I am stretching myself even more. I am planning to read at least 20 books. Six books from three different categories and two books from the last category. Here is the update on what I have read so far:

-Raising Real Men – Hal & Melanie Young – in progress

-The Ministry of Motherhood – Sally Clarkson

-Desperate – Sally Clarkson & Sarah Mae

-Seed Sowers – Gwen Toliver

-A Love that Multiplies – Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar

-Shepherding a Child’s Heart – Tedd Tripp

-Blogging for Dummies – Susannah Gardner & Shane Birley – in progress

– Photoshop Elements 10 for Dummies – Barbara Obermeier & Ted Padova – in progress
