30 Days of Praying for our Kids

PrayingforourkidsI saw a post on Ben and Me about her challenge to pray for our kids for 30 Days. That challenge inspired me and I posted about it on facebook asking friends to join me. I had a friend make a comment on a great prayer card she keeps in her Bible published by NavPress called 31 Biblical Virtues to Pray for your Kids by Bob Hostetler. After reading over this prayer card, I decided to start my own series using these virtues as my inspiration. I hope you will join me all month as I endeavor to get on my knees for my kids. Leave a comment at the bottom of this post if you plan to join me. I would love it if we had some interaction and participation on this series. I am even going to try my first link up. So get those posts ready!

I read the original post by Marcy Crabtree @ Ben and Me – here: http://www.benandme.com/2013/03/Head-Shoulders-Knees-Toes-30-Days-Prayer-Our-Kids.html & will be joining her in 30 days of praying for our kids!

Kelli – I am joining in with Marcy as well but my focus in these posts is on a different area of prayer. I am glad you are supporting her. This is not meant to take away from her posts. I am doing this mostly with moms from our local homeschool group.

Hey – you know what? We all need to be praying for our kids – I am pretty sure Marcy’s posts are doing fine – she’ll probably even join in your link up if you send it to her.
        I didn’t mean – “I’m supporting her & not you” I meant – I’m signed up at that link :)
Have you seen the resources available through “The Parenting Handbook” site she is sharing? awesome – just awesome.
Prayer is the #1 thing that has and does make a difference in our family homeschool with 3 boys!

No I haven’t checked out those resources. I will have to do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have felt the Holy Spirit really move during seasons of praying blessings over my children. I want that everyday in our lives. Thank you, and yes I would love to join.
    Blessings in Him,
