M is for Making Time and N is for Needing Routine

Do you ever find yourself preoccupied with your to-do list, your planning, your projects, etc? In this age of multi-tasking and with the push to always be productive, I find myself in that place of preoccupation quite often. As I have been Praying for My kids over the last few days, the Lord has pricked my heart about the importance of making time for Him and for my husband and kids. When we first started summer break, I had the kids make a summer bucket list and we have been gradually working on these items. However, I have been very caught up in school planning and evaluation, school curriculum shopping and blogging. I have been convicted that I need to get back into my morning routine and schedule time to work on these projects and then leave plenty of free time in the mornings and afternoons for my family. I love the freedom of the summertime break, but I am finding that when I get out of my routine, I end up wasting precious time fiddling on the computer, moving piles around, etc. I don’t want to miss out on the adventures and teachable moments that occur in the summer because of preoccupation. Join me as I give you weekly updates over the summer of how I am accomplishing this new goal. I just picked up this neat e-book bundle that you might find helpful. This is not an affiliate link, I just thought that I would share it with you. I have read two of the ebooks included and found them very helpful. The bundle is available all this week for $7.40 Time Management for Families bundle – Week#25.
