Snowpocalypse – Another View

downloadThose of you outside of Georgia may not know that we Southerners had quite an ordeal from an inch (yes, an inch) of snow this past week.  Especially, our good Governor Nathan Deal, who took quite a pounding from a “dusting”, that was anything but.

“I’m Sorry”

(Sung to the tune of “I’m Sorry” by Brenda Lee)

I’m sorry, so sorry
I didn’t know you were stuck on the roads
I was asleep
Counting sheep
Oh-oh-oh-oh-there go my polls

I’m sorry, so sorry
I didn’t know we would get so much snow
I was too trusting
Of the weatherman’s “dusting”
Oh-oh-oh-oh-there go my polls

(I’m sorry) I’m sorry
(So sorry) So sorry
Please accept my apology
It was more than you got

From Mayor Kasim Reed

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-yes

You tell me mistakes
Aren’t part of my job
I could have cared more
By crying prostrate on the floor
Oh-oh-oh-oh-there go my polls

I’m sorry, so sorry
Please accept my apology
And please remember
To vote in November

(Sorry)

(I love you more than Mayor Reed)
